Motorola Re-enters China With Moto X, Moto X Pro, Moto G, and Moto Hint





As promised, Motorola has officially re-entered China with the Moto X, Moto X Pro, Moto G, and Moto Hint for China.

The Moto X 16 GB version is already available at Motorola.com.cn, JD.com, T-Mall, Gome, Suning and DXT for RMB 3,299 , but there is no Moto Maker option just yet. Instead they are launching 6 of the most popular colors that were voted on my over 10,000 people. The most popular color was turquoise, and that will be at a special price of RMB 2,999. Motorola has promised that leather, bamboo, and wood models with 32 GB of storage will be available soon. Pre-orders have already started Motorola.com.cn and JD.com for those models for RMB 3,699. Moto Maker will also be launched soon, but no time frame was given.

Tne Moto X Pro is simply a re-branded Nexus 6 and will be available starting in March. The Moto G pre-ordering will begin on February 10th at Motorola.com.cn and JD.com for RMB 1,299 (8 GB) and RMB 1,499 (16 GB). Motorola also mentions the Moto Hint as coming soon, but didn’t offer any pricing. Notably absent was the Moto 360, but we expect a release in the near future.

Coming soon, you here in China will be the first in Asia to be able to customize your own Moto X through Motorola’s exclusive online design studio – Moto Maker – allowing you to choose your own colors or materials, wallpaper, memory and more.

Moto X Pro: Choose to go bigger.

Moto X Pro gives you the same great software experiences of Moto X – including Moto Voice – in a bigger, more powerful package. The 6-inch Quad HD display and front-facing stereo speakers provide crisp visuals and immersive sound. Plus, a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization captures high-quality photos in all lighting.

Moto X Pro will be available in China starting in March.
