An old Native American legend tells of a time when men in shining clothes came from the skies in their equally shining flying disks.
Passed on through generations, the folktale describes a crash between two such flying objects. One of them was damaged and crash landed somewhere in the Death Valley. Soon after that, the crew of a second disk arrived at the scene and began repairing the damaged craft.
This account could be considered just a myth were it not for some strange stone carvings. The ancient Native Americans recorded what they saw, inscribing two different objects in the desert stones that resemble the standard UFO model.
Another set of carvings found in the area are strikingly similar to various wave patterns.
Some say this is just another case of misinterpretation while others are certain the Native Americans carved what they saw: aliens.
