Diners can feast on Littlechickenfingers in London-based Game of Thrones Restaurant
Some lucky few will get the opportunity to dine in a Game of Thrones themed restaurant in London on Valentine’s day weekend. What’s more romantic than excessive violence, intriguing politics, and gratuitous nudity? Perhaps that last one is a little-bit romantic.
Hopefully, this doesn’t end up like Joffery’s feast.
If this is news to you, then you most likely won’t get a ticket to the exclusive event. In order to get a ticket, fans had to answer the question: “Who is your favorite Game of Thrones character and what would you cook them to win their heart?” The best answers were chosen last night, February 4th, and the winners earned a seat at the restaurant. That’s a pretty classy move. This way some genuine fans get the chance to be involved in this unique experience, even if they aren’t willing shell out the most cash.
The short-lived event will take place at the Andaz hotel. According to Huffington Post, the restaurant will only be open from February 13th to the 15th.
CNBC reports that the courses are still being planned, but so far we know of one dish named “The lies of Tyrion Lannister and his proclaimed innocence”, which will most likely be veal tongue. They also reported that the invite read:
“Guests will sample the finest delicacies Westeros has to offer over multiple courses, accompanied by a carefully selected drinks menu of cocktails fit for a King.”
The opening of the restaurant coincides with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the 4th season of Game of Thrones.
